Boarding Your Reptile with Painted Reptile 

Are you getting ready to go out of town?!  Well, it doesn’t matter if it is a small vacation, long vacation or a short business trip, the Painted Reptile will watch your reptile, amphibian or insect while you are gone!

With our boarding program Painted Reptile will house, feed, clean and look after your loveable pet while you are gone.  We love reptiles and we know you do to, which is why your pet is the most important thing to us a Painted Reptile when your they come to visit.  Be sure to look over our pricing and feel free to ask our staff any questions regarding the boarding program. 

Reptile Boarding Program Rules and Requirements:

• Fill out Painted Reptile’s Boarding application form (Must me done when dropping off animal)
• Fill out Painted Reptile’s Boarding Release form (Must me done when dropping off animal)
• Copy of driver’s license of ID  
• All animals must be healthy, mite and disease free before being approved for drop off. 
• Adults must be present when dropping off boarding animal for minor.

Additional Reptile Boarding Fees:

• Customers will also be billed for all food necessary to feed your animal during the boarding duration. Which will be reflected in your invoice upon pick up. Feeder prices for boarding animals are taken directly our feeder price list.
• Customers will also be billed for any necessary vet bills or extra costs during the boarding duration. Customers will be contact before hand to discuss reasons for visiting the vet, but customers are required to be clear and up front about any health concerns.
• Customers will be billed DOUBLE for the animals being left behind passed the pick-up date.  Customers are required to put a reasonable pick up date on the form. If customers do not pick up animals during that time then they are required to extend the dates by notifying us in email or verbally over the phone. Once a customer missed the pick up date without extending the date, then a "double boarding fee" will start. The double boarding fee will continue until the final surrender date. 

Additional Reptile Boarding Notes:

• Customer’s will be allowed a grace period of (two weeks) to pick-up the animal after the pick-up date.  After that two-week period, all boarding animals and property will be surrendered to the Painted Reptile.  The last day in the two week period is known as the "final surrender date". This is the last possible chance for a customer to pick up and pay for an animal that has not been properly extended.
• Painted Reptile reserves the right to sell, re-house or re-home any of the animals left behind for longer than two weeks passed the pick-up date. Your animal will immediately become for sale once the final surrender date has passed.
• If it makes your travels and trip easier, you can bring in your own cage and supplies during the duration of your animals boarding. There is an extra fee associated brining your own tank and setup. For large tanks or enclosures you must call ahead of time and setup your boarding drop off over the phone.
