PAINTED REPTILE IN-STORE POLICIES

 

 COVID - 19 POLICY

ALL CUSTOMERS ARE REQUIED TO WEAR MASKS WHEN SHOPPING IN THE STORE.  CUSTOMERS WITHOUT MASKS WILL NOT BE ALOWED TO ENTER THE STORE.  WE HAVE VULNERABLE STAFF AND VULNERABLE FAMILY MEMBERS, SO PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF US AND OTHERS. 

We are allowed to operate as an essential business, due to the need for animal food and the need for pet care and help. However extended stays and viewing of animals is not possible during this time. Please keep your time in Painted Reptile limited to essential purchases and do not over crowd the store. 

We are only allowing 25% capacity in the store during the pandemic. So, you may be asked to wait outside if the store is crowded. 

PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS AND PROTECT THE REPTILE COMMUNITY!

 

IN STORE REFUND AND EXCHANGE

REFUNDS OR RETURNS ON DRY GOODS ARE NOW ALLOWED AS LONG AS ITEM HAS NOT BEEN USED.  To respect other customer and their animals, items can only be returned in an unused condition.

Original packing must be included for succesful store return.

Defective items will be replaced with the exact same item or may be returned.

Products missing pieces or parts

Prodcuts missing the original packaging

 

 

LIVE ANIMAL GUARANTEE 

The Painted Reptile guarantees all animals are healthy and of the highest quality. The animals will be sold in immaculate health and upon proper set up they will do great.

Any concerns with the animal must be reported at the time of purchase. Animals In-Store are all checked and approved on a health basis before purchasing. 

All animals leave our facility in the highest quality state. Any strange signs must be reported immediately so we can assist in changing your husbandry or assisting you in fixing the problem.

Any complaints or deaths will not be considered after 24 hours of purchase. Since we cannot control your husbandry methods, we are very strict with our 24 hour guarantee for shipping live reptiles.

 

 

Refunds and Exchanges on Animals

NO refunds on live animals.

NO exchanging live animals.

Animals will be replaced within 24 hours of arrival, ONLY IN EVENT OF DEATH WITH EXPLATION. 

 

 

Special Orders on Reptiles and Goods.

Yes we do special orders for animals and dry goods. 

All dry goods special orders require a 25% deposit to initiate the order  (Rest paid when goods arrive).

Live Animal special orders require a 25% deposit to initiate the order (Rest paid when animal arrives). 25% deposit is NOT refundable. 

Any feeder orders require a 100% payment to initiate the order. 

 

 

Holds on Reptiles

Yes, we do allow holds on live animals.

Live Animal orders require a 25% deposit to initiate the order (Rest paid when animal arrives). 

Animals will be held on main floor or in inventory room for EXACTLY 14 days.

If the animal is not picked up with in 14 days, the customer will start to be billed for our reptile boarding fees for each day the animal is not picked up. 

After 4 weeks of fees the animal will be surrendered back to The Painted Reptile and no monies will be returned to the customers.
